Alexa Capital expands into North America with Maria Zaheer, CFA as Managing Director

We are delighted to announce our expansion into North America with the opening of our New York office at 1230 Avenue of the Americas at Rockfeller Centre. Our business is now FINRA-regulated through our partner relationship with MP Securities Inc.

To cement this expansion Maria Zaheer, CFA has joined the team as Managing Director & Head of North America. 

Maria brings over fifteen years of investment banking experience in public and private capital markets, project finance, M&A and corporate finance advisory transactions, across the energy and infrastructure sectors. Prior to Alexa Capital, Maria developed her diverse transaction expertise and deep market relationships through her key roles at Credit Suisse, MUFG Securities and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc. Maria is a CFA and Series 7 charter holder and holds a BBA from the University of Texas in Austin.
