John is an experienced senior energy professional with a proven track record of developing winning strategies and delivering results.

He has led two of the largest competitive retail energy companies in the United States and has 27 years of practical experience in a variety of energy industry roles including; energy sales, natural gas and electric operations, energy trading, energy infrastructure development, retail energy M&A, strategy development and risk management. He is passionate about finding sustainable energy solutions to help companies meet the de-carbonization challenge.

Most recently, John was President of Direct Energy Business, one of the largest retail energy providers in North America with operations in 23 states and Canada. John started his career at Statoil Energy Services and spent 13 years at Hess Corporation in a variety of energy-related roles.
