Shann is the VP of HR & Operations at Alexa Capital. Over the past 8 years, she has worked directly with our CEO, Partners and Leadership group, supporting strategic decision-making and to ensure everything in operations and HR runs smoothly.

She is responsible for overseeing the execution of operational processes and initiatives and implementing new company policies, as well as maintaining our internal HR procedures. Shann is crucial in helping to maintain a close relationship between senior management and the wider team as well as preserving a valuable and cohesive office culture. She is an integral part of the Alexa Capital team and is valued for her effective leadership and development, planning and strong initiative, supervising and people coaching skills.

Shann graduated with a BSc. in International Business and is currently working towards her CIPD Associate Level 5 Diploma in People Management. She has over a decade of experience working in Operations and HR Management, primarily in the Financial Services sector. Shann is an English native speaker and is fluent in both northern and southern dialects of the Kurdish language.

In her spare time, Shann enjoys practicing Reformer Pilates and Vinyasa Yoga, hiking outdoors, travelling, loves to cook and spending quality time with family and close friends.
